Reviews for Victorino's Restaurant
Review highlights
Based on 1,240 reviewsVictorino's Restaurant is widely recognized for its authentic Northern Filipino cuisine, with many patrons praising the quality and generous servings of traditional dishes like bagnet and longganisa. The establishment is noted for maintaining a loyal adherence to regional flavors while also offering an expanded menu including bakery and pastry items crafted by renowned chefs. Customers appreciate the warm ambiance suitable for family gatherings and special occasions, though some feedback mentions minor issues such as air conditioning comfort on busy days. Despite a higher price point compared to similar eateries, most reviewers find the dining experience well worth the investment due to excellent food quality and attentive service.
This is great Filipino restaurant. The price point here is higher than most restaurants but it’s WORTH it. The quality of the food was superb. We had breakfast here and the Chef was actually at the restaurant when we visited last, but we were shy to say hi and say our compliments to the her. But great experience.
We had a wonderful northern Filipino break first at Victorino. The food was good and the serving size generous. The dessert were super good specially the cakes.
Booked a private room to celebrate a special occasion with family, and it was well worth it. FOOD: Everything tasted great even the plain rice . Check out the photo captions to see what we devoured. The longganisa and bagnet were not greasy - IDK how they managed that ( sorcery ). Desserts by Heny Sison are available here. Cake slices are generous, so we ended up sharing amongst ourselves. The standout was the Bibingka - it's so fluffy I'm gonna die SERVICE: Superb The wait staff were very helpful and attentive. Although our private room was at the 2nd floor, we had no trouble reaching out to staff for additional orders or requests. ATMOSPHERE: Home-y in a good way The place seems like it was una casa muy grande in its past life. If you have an eye for detail, you'll notice (and appreciate) the Filipino/Ilocano touches throughout the interiors - there was even an inabel lampshade in the little ladies room.Victorino's: Longganisa Platter, Lumpiang Gabi at Hipon, Bagnet, Pancit Musiko, Lemongrass drinkHeny Sison: Bibingka, Carrot Cake, Ube Macapuno Cake
Dine in on a Sunday lunch. Victorinos specializes on Ilocano food. Delicious overall, especially the bagnet. I also liked the adobong baby pusit and kalabasa soup. Service is good overall. Although the airconditioning seems lacking on a hot Sunday lunch.
Apr 2025 Stand alone local restaurant owned by renowned Heny Sison that primarily offers regional Northern Luzon and classic period Filipino fare but has expanded to a bakery and pastisserie.I have been here many times and it is one of the few standalone establishments that has weathered the test of fads and fashion. The food is loyal to its Filipinana origins as well as most of the bakery creations though it provides access to the early influences of Spanish and American times. There is also an array of take home products for purchase. The service staff are very helpful and well trained. The layout is much like a large old Filipino heritage house with tasteful decor and interiors.Ideal for all types of diners but especially for families and visitors to our country.
A very pleasant lunch at this place today (though the temperature inside was quite warm). The food was simply fabulous. Loved the pako salad and the Ilocos Express! The chicken adobo was also good and the Ilocos Best ( a platter of bagnet slices and a variety of Ilokano sausages) was simply the star of the show!Take note that their servings will be best for 3-4 people so don’t complain about the price because it is worth it!
Ordered the sinigang na tadjang and adobong baby pusit. The sinigang was thick, hearty, and the perfect kind of asim that sends a tingling feeling down your spine. The tadjang was soft, stringy, and fall off the bone. I wish there was more of it. The pusit too was divine. It was chewy and soft, the garlic bits were a nice touch too. Unlike a lot of other Filipino restaurants, the dishes were not oily at all. But don’t be mistaken, not oily doesn’t mean bland. Both dishes were a flavor bomb, we had to keep reaching for more rice. Washed it all down with a tall glass of iced black gulaman. Very refreshing and doubled as our dessert. The place is charming, clean, and servers very accommodating (just as you would expect when you walk into a Filipino household).Overall, Victorino’s is a winner and proves that this oldie is still a goodie.
Very yummy :) love their Ilokano dishes!!! We’ll continue to come back to this restaurant
